We are a restored 350 year old Goan-Portuguese manor house that once belonged to the Governor of Macao. The house is one of the oldest and grandest in North Goa that is still standing and your interest and patronage allows us to keep her in the very best condition. On our website you will learn more about our passion for the house and the restoration, which earned us a mention some years ago from the UNESCO Heritage Awards committee.
We consider ourself a non-hotel, in fact Siolim House is still a home, and we aim to offer you a taste of real Goa - in terms of food, hospitality and of course Goan 'art de vivre', which is very unique as you probably know. We are situated in a rural setting, but very conveniently so for the 'newly discovered' Northern Beaches and in the other direction the shops and restaurants of Calangute-Baga etc. You will find a lot more information on our website, by my team (Lindsay and Deeptima) and I will be very happy to help you with any request you have.
