Ayurvedic Food
This is advised for our guests who are short on time to take longer packages. This can be taken as a long weekend package where you can use your time to strengthen and cleanse your body.
As per Ayurvedic texts food is the fuel and the life source of the body. So, food is beneficial to the body only if the nutrition from it is absorbed well in the body and the waste generated is eliminated. Otherwise the body systems not get the nutrients from the food and the wastes get accumulated, both are the reasons for diseases and lowered immunity. Food that is difficult to digest and complicated is the main reason that we are falling ill these days.
Keeping this in mind, we plan meals based on the guidelines mentioned in Charak Samhita (the original text on Ayurved). Our food is prepared with indigenous natural ingredients without the use of machines (even our masalas are ground on traditional grinding stone.), cold pressed oils, indigenous vegetables and grains that are grown locally in India.
The meals are simple, delicious and balanced with all six tastes that are synergistic to each other. They are also served as per the rules of eating as per Ayurvedic scriptures
DHANVANTARI

Dhanvantari is the Hindu god of medicine and an avatar of Lord Vishnu. He was the king of Varanasi. He is mentioned in the Puranas as the god of Ayurveda. He, during the Samudramanthan arose from the Ocean of Milk with the nectar of immortality. It is a common practice in Hinduism for worshipers to pray to Dhanvantari seeking his blessings for sound health for themselves and/or others, especially on Dhanteras or Dhanwantari Trayodashi (“National Ayurveda Day”).[2] Dhanvantari is also identified with “Divodasa King of Kasi.”[3]
