Siolim is a large village, situated along the Chapora river in North Goa, and
almost all Goans will know where it is. The Hotel is situated at the entrance
to the village. If you want to locate it on the map (courtesy LP), below,
Siolim is just beyond Anjuna on the north coast, and towards the coast from
Mapuca. When you reach St. Antony's church in Siolim, take the road going
towards Chapora, 100m later you're there!

and modify it slightly - as we wanted to add where we are. I am sure you will
see this page - please let me know if or not you allow me to do this!)

Getting to Hotel and Goa by Air
Goa is connected several times a day by air from Bombay, Delhi and Bangalore
and several weekly flights from Cochin, Madras and elsewhere. There is also a
weekly flight from Kuwait, and, during the season, several weekly from the UK,
Switzerland, Holland and Scandinavia.

Goa is "GOI", "GOA" is Genova!:

Getting to the Hotel and Goa by Train
With the new Konkan Railway line recently completed, this is another
exciting way to get to Goa and go beyond towards the south. There is the
Rajdhani Express (26 hrs) that operates only on Saturdays and Sundays and one
more daily train (a bit slower) from Delhi to Goa, and the overnight Konkan
Express daily from Bombay. From Cochin there is the daily Netravati Express and
the Rajkot-Trivandrum Express.
Unfortunately, although the countryside it passes through is spectacular and
some say the construction of the line was a marvel of engineering, the trains
are regularly late.
Anyway if you do choose this means, then best is to get off at Tivim station,
if the train stops there (the Rajdhani does not). From there the Hotel is only
20 minutes drive. Otherwise you will have to go 45' further to Margao.

You can also come by road, though I would not recommend that (17 hours by bus
from Bombay to Goa), and by overnight Catamaran service from Bombay (no
sleeping berths, and does not run from June to early October).
Obviously the best means of transport from the Airport or Station is by car. If
you let us know in advance of your plans we will have you picked up. From the
Airport it should cost you around Rs. 750, from Tivim Rs. 350, and from Margao
station around Rs. 800.
Tips on Flights to Goa
There are direct flights from major cities in India to Goa, and between
Oct-April, from UK, Holland, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
Flight and Stay packages for holidays in Goa from the UK are from £500 per
person per week. Call us on 07951 021027 in the UK for any help.
Check out prices for Goa holiday flights on www.bargainholidays.com for an example for flights from
London. The 'trick' is to search for 'holidays' as well as 'flight only'.
Because of govt. rules to protect Air India's monopoly, the loophole devised by
airlines flying to Goa is that the best deals are based on Holiday prices which
include basic dormitory or 1*/2* hotel accomodation. These are much cheaperthan
flight only, where they cannot undercut. The accomodation is mostly never used
,and you do not have to stay there. Prices start at £199 pp for Holidays in
Goa, or £279 for flight only.
