During this period, when we used only love and traditional materials, natural stones and marbles, to repair, replace and renovate Siolim House, we also learnt a lot about traditional Goan architecture and the results of 500 years of Goan colonial history. Siolim House retains Goa's traditional cha style,very similar to the pure unfrivolous decoration seen in classic pousadas and quintas throughout Portugal.
