Siolim is a large village, situated along the Chapora river in North Goa, and
almost all Goans will know where it is. The Hotel is situated at the entrance
to the village. If you want to locate it on the map (courtesy LP), below,
Siolim is just beyond Anjuna on the north coast, and towards the coast from
Mapuca. When you reach St. Antony's church in Siolim, take the road going
towards Chapora, 100m later you're there!

(Dear Mr. The Map - I could not get your address anywhere on your website to
ask you if I can download the Map and modify it slightly - as we wanted to add
where we are. I am sure you will see this page - please let me know if or not
you allow me to do this!)

Getting to Hotel and Goa by Air
Goa is connected several times a day by air from Bombay, Delhi and Bangalore
and several weekly flights from Cochin, Madras and elsewhere. There is also a
weekly flight from the Middle East, and, during the season, several weekly from
the UK, Switzerland, Holland and Scandinavia.
The following Airlines fly to Goa. New routes keep getting added so its best to get on to their websites to see where they fly to or from
-
SpiceJet: Cheap fares beginning at Rs 899 from Bombay and
Delhi - www.spicejet.com
-
Air Deccan: Discount Airline - flies 2-3x per day from Bombay,
from Bangalore and from Hyderabad www.airdeccan.net

For discounts on regular fares:
travel.indiatimes.com if you can book a bit in advance (7 days). Jet, Sahara and
Indian Airlines will probably charge higher 'USD fares', the others will not and you
can book online.
From the UK, your travel agent should be able to yet you intercontinental fares,
and may also be able to buy your domestic tickets, but its cheaper to buy online from the above low cost airlines
For charter tickets best is to try your local travel agent. One agent that always goes out of his way for good fares and can do charter and scheduled is Bobby at Benz Travel (020) 73237 310
www.benztravel.co.uk The 'trick' is to ask for 'holidays' as well as 'flight only'.
Because of govt. rules to protect Air India's monopoly, the loophole devised by
airlines flying to Goa is that the best deals are based on Holiday prices which
include basic dormitory or 1*/2* hotel accomodation. These are often cheaperthan
flight only, where they cannot undercut. The accomodation is mostly never used
,and you do not have to stay there.
Getting to the Hotel and Goa by Train
With the new Konkan Railway line recently completed, this is another
exciting way to get to Goa and go beyond towards the south. There is the
Rajdhani Express (26 hrs) that operates only on Saturdays and Sundays and one
more daily train (a bit slower) from Delhi to Goa, and the overnight Konkan
Express daily from Bombay. From Cochin there is the daily Netravati Express and
the Rajkot-Trivandrum Express.
Unfortunately, although the countryside it passes through is spectacular and
some say the construction of the line was a marvel of engineering, the trains
are regularly late.
Anyway if you do choose this means, then best is to get off at Tivim station,
if the train stops there (the Rajdhani does not). From there the Hotel is only
20 minutes drive. Otherwise you will have to go 45' further to Margao.

Indian Railways http://www.indianrail.gov.in
You can also come by road, though I would not recommend that (17 hours by bus
from Bombay to Goa), and by overnight Catamaran service from Bombay (no
sleeping berths, and does not run from June to early October).
Obviously the best means of transport from the Airport or Station is by car. If
you let us know in advance of your plans we will have you picked up. From the
Airport it should cost you around Rs. 750, from Tivim Rs. 350, and from Margao
station around Rs. 800.
